Whether you fancy yourself as a bit of a Captain Jack Sparrow or you prefer things a little less rum-soaked, you'll love the adventure of cruising the South Seas in Vanuatu. While the only bounty you'll be getting your hands on is a delicious beach BBQ lunch, we won't make you swab the decks for it on this full day adventure cruise of the stunning waters around Efate.
Start off your South Seas Adventure Cruise with stunning views of Vila Harbour and Mele Bay on your way to Havannah Harbour where you'll board the 23m yacht 'Coongoola'. A previous world cruiser to the Greek Island and Africa, Coongoola was the radio relay vessel for the Sydney to Hobart yacht race and will be your comfortable sailing vessel for the day. Enjoy a leisurely cruise through the protected waters of Havannah Harbour while morning tea is served.
Enjoying a short stop on a nearby island to visit an important turtle conservation project, it's then back on the boat to sail the calm waters of the passage to Moso Island and stunning 'Sun & Moon' Bay. As you head for the shore, make sure you've got your sunglasses on so that the clear blue lagoon and fine white sand of Hapi Tok beach doesn't blind you.
Contrasting against the lush emerald green of the island's tropical vegetation, you'll be itching to get ashore and relax in the shade, explore the shallows or snorkel the reef with your tour guide. When you've worked up an appetite, a delicious beach BBQ of prime meat cooked to perfection and a beautiful array of fresh salads is served with time after lunch to nap, swim with the tame fish, snorkel the crystal waters or explore an ancient cave.
It's then time to get back on board Coongoola to set sail for the mainland, enjoying afternoon tea on board before sailing into the Harbour under power to meet the friendly resident dolphins. Headed back to the mainland, the tour bus will return you to your hotel feeling tired, relaxed and completely satisfied.
